About The Author

Over the past 30 years, I have had the great privilege of designing roofs on two of America’s
treasured Capitol Buildings, NJ Executive State House, and Philadelphia City Hall, in addition to
two Revolutionary War Era structures that played a role in the formation of America, the Betsy
Ross House and the archaeological remnants of The Presidents House (btw, no president ever
lived there). I have worked on at least a dozen domes, including two observatories, one
cathedral, one synagogue and six churches. The majority of historic roofs for which I have
designed roof replacement are more than 100-years old.
