601 E. Indiana Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19134
The McPherson Square Library, located in Philadelphia’s Kensington neighborhood, is a historic Carnegie library with a distinctive domed design that was constructed in 1917. The library first opened in 1898 inside the converted Webster Mansion, and both the library and its adjacent six-acre park are named in honor of General William MacPherson, a Revolutionary War officer and associate of George Washington.
