PA Capitol, J. Buchanan

This 10-acre historic estate was the primary residence of Buchanan from 1848 until his death in 1868 and also served as the center of his 1856 presidential campaign. Now maintained by Lancaster History, the restored 1828 mansion is open to the public for guided tours.
